The Changchun Football Association has officially launched a call for applications, seeking passionate cheerleaders and young player escorts for the “Northeast Super League” matches in the city. The initiative aims to boost the electric atmosphere of the games and ignite football dreams among the youth.
Changchun, one of eight participating cities, is set to host four home matches, with the first game scheduled for May 23. This tournament offers a prime opportunity to showcase the city’s vibrant sports culture, deepen community engagement, and elevate Changchun’s profile on the national stage.
Cheerleading teams are open to individuals aged 18 to 25, regardless of gender. Groups are invited to apply, with a focus on health, charisma, sports enthusiasm, and teamwork. A total of 20 teams will enter the preliminary round, from which 12 will be selected for the finals. Selected participants will enjoy complimentary meals provided by the organizing committee.
For the role of player escorts, children aged 5 to 7 are welcome, again without gender restrictions. Ideal candidates should be lively, soccer-loving, and comfortable in the spotlight—experience in large events is a plus. Four teams, each consisting of 22 children, will be chosen. Escorts and their families will receive five match-day tickets, allowing them to experience the top-tier excitement up close.
