EuroLeague’s 2025-26 Season Breaks All Previous Records

The 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season didn’t just expand—it completely redefined the league’s benchmarks in television viewership, digital engagement, and live attendance, marking a new era of growth for the competition.

Throughout the entire regular season, EuroLeague attracted a total television audience of 508.17 million and surpassed 1.4 billion social media video views for the first time, as announced by the league. Additionally, 3,251,706 fans filled arenas, setting a new all-time attendance record.

The television figures highlight the extent of this expansion. In the first 25 rounds alone, global TV viewership—including live and delayed audiences—reached 122.8 million, an 82% increase compared to the same period last season.

Several key markets fueled this surge. The Balkans saw a 103% rise, Italy increased by 77%, and Israel climbed 76%, with France, Turkey, and Spain also contributing significant growth.

EuroLeague’s digital presence grew equally fast. The league and its clubs collectively amassed 47.1 million followers, while EuroLeague-owned platforms generated 1.49 billion video views and over 3 billion impressions.

This growth didn’t happen in isolation. Since the 2021-22 regular season, EuroLeague-owned platforms have achieved double- and triple-digit increases across all major performance metrics, including a 1,067% surge in video views and an 80% rise in total followers.

The arena attendance numbers tell a similar story. The season’s 3.25 million total was achieved despite several clubs having to relocate games, reduce capacity, or play behind closed doors in certain cases.

On the court, the regular season standings reflected the intense competition at the top. Olympiacos finished first with a 26-12 record, followed by Valencia, Real Madrid, Fenerbahce, and Zalgiris, while the middle of the table created the play-in mix that keeps the league format competitive until the end.
