Ederson opened the scoring for Atalanta in the 7th minute, followed by Davide Zappacosta’s goal in the 29th minute. Giacomo Raspadori extended the lead to 3-0 early in the second half (51st minute). Milan fought back with a late surge: Strahinja Pavlović pulled one back in the 88th minute, and Christopher Nkunku converted a penalty in the 90th minute to make it 3-2, but it was not enough to salvage a point.
With this result, Atalanta climbed to 58 points and sit seventh in the standings, while Milan remain fourth with 67 points.
